Sales Administrative Associate Job

ITOCHU Prominent USA designs and manufactures men’s and women’s fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers.​ The company sources and handles logistics of importing textiles for name-brand companies, including Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Nordstroms and The Gap, and handles licensing and or distribution for many famous brands in Japan.​


We currently have a career opportunity for a Sales Administrative Associate to join our Women’s Fabric team.​ Provide administrative support to a sales team.​ Process data and generate routine reports regarding sales results, sales force earnings, and market conditions.​ Answer questions about the organization's products or services.​



KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS include the following.​




  1. Serve as the initial contact in the office for all problems and information questions from the sales team.​ Answer all incoming calls and provide as much immediate resolution as possible.​
  2. Book and process Customer Purchase Order Requests and Change Orders.​
  3. Interface with customers and sales team to identify and resolve Purchase Order problems as to ensure that requests are following established guidelines and procedures.​
  4. Interface with Production and Credit Department, expediting shipments and account maintenance.​
  5. Assist sales management in the preparation of charts, graphs, and tables for presentations and business reviews utilizing various software applications and requiring integration of data from multiple sources.​
  6. Create reports for the sales force regarding market conditions, sales results, and team earnings.​
  7. Prepare and process incoming and outgoing correspondence.​ Oversee petty cash, office supplies and equipment repair.​
  8. Coordinate the preparation of monthly calendars, mileage reports, and travel itineraries for the sales office.​
  9. Other duties as required.​


QUALIFICATIONS


Associate's Degree.​


Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) required.​


1+​ years of experience in a sales office environment
Bilingual Japanese a plus.​

Sales Representative

As a Liberty Mutual Personal Markets Sales Representative you will build and develop client relationships within local communities to promote Liberty Mutual products including Auto, Home and Life Insurance. We will support you by providing guidance from experienced Sales professionals, training, and sponsoring licensing exams. You can leverage our relationships with over 10,800 Affinity Groups target customers. SKILLS REQUIRED

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales or client service environment preferred.
  • Highly effective communication skills - oral, written and group.
  • Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
  • Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines.
  • This position requires that incumbents attain and maintain current state insurance license in property, casualty and life.
